Skydiving Music Video – Freeflying

Diciembre 12th, 2011 No Comments »

Check out this music video by PLANET FUNK which illustrates the beauty and magic of freeflying.

Freeflying is a skydiving discipline which adds to the traditional belly-to-earth positions, vertical flight situations where the flyer is in an upright position or in an inverted position (falling head first). These positions can increase freefall speeds considerably and in addition to that make new types of formations possible.

A freeflyer, in order to fully understand the aerodynamic power of the body in freefall, needs to first learn to control all of the skydiving forms: in the box position , which are belly-to-earth and back flying. These positions are usually not held for the duration of the full skydive. Freeflying involves constant transitions in position and speeds, with vertical and horizontal orientations.

Team Xtreme is launching a new Team Building activity on the beautiful mountains of Ronda just an hour drive from the coast. A “Via Ferrata” is a secure and pre-fabricated climbing track where the participants climb up stairs that are integrated into the rocks, while being secured to a fixed line installed along those stairs. A great adrenaline producing activity where you get to push your boundaries and overcome your fears.

In the following professionally edited video you can appreciate the amazing surroundings and dynamic nature of the activity:
